CASH ONLY. FAMILY OWNED.  Has been there over 30 years. Great food & service. Good for  Groups of 4 or less. Can do bigger but not by many. Great breakfast/ brunch spot. Gluten-free French toast was good. So were the potatoes!

Potato Shack has been serving tasty breakfast in Encinitas for more than 30 years!! I have been eating at Potato Shack since I was about 10 years old. I used ro get 1 man-hole size pancake back then. Now I enjoy the omelettes, pancakes, potatoes, french toast, and breakfast burrito. 🍳🥓🥞🌯
