I had an amazing dinner at Presidio Kebab recently that I just had to share! The first time I came here I was getting something small before attending the theater across the street, but today, I’m having multiple courses! We started with the meze platter, followed by some kebabs and couldn’t skip some seriously impressive dessert that they make in-house. Also got to explore some new foods to me like salgam– turnip and carrot juice. What a gem in this community.

Today I’m visiting Presidio Kebab, a cozy neighborhood spot in Presidio Heights that’s perfect for date night, a pre-movie dinner at the Vogue Theater, or a post-hike meal around the Presidio.
We started with Turkish wine and the hot and cold meze platters loaded with hummus, tzatziki, and baba ganoush — my favorite combo with warm pita. I also tried the falafel and sigara borek (crispy feta rolls),  perfect with a glass of wine. The homemade spanakopita is a must-order, and try moussaka!
