A Delightful Flirtation.  Great vibe, communal seating & small patio on LaBrea. I came for the short rib sandwich late  on a Friday, they were out! Republique only serves the dish on weekdays. So, I came for brunch on Sunday, the line was out the door & down the block. Since third times a charm, I decided to head back on Monday to taste their artisan ice cream & sorbet. Delicious! I tried melon, pear, chocolate the Italian G and coffee . All tasty, the coffee was the most complex with chocolate chunks & caramel- divine.  Republique ran out of waffle cones too. A very #popular spot for los angeles meet ups! This #cheese board was huge and definitely a statement piece. Overall the food was standard in taste, nothing stood out but it was a good staple.

One of LA’s most popular brunch spots! ☕️

République, located in Miracle Mile, serves a French-inspired menu in this gorgeous historic building. The space features a casual bakery, café, and bar in the front with a more formal dining area located in the rear.

I suggest going early during the week to beat the crowds and secure those pastries before they sell out!! Cafe & Bakery is open daily from 8am-2pm and restaurant is open Tues-Fri from 5:30pm-10pm and Sat from 5pm-10pm.

It took us 2 years to try République and we were so pleasantly surprised! The line out the door always deterred us but tbh it moves pretty quickly. We celebrated our first wedding anniversary here and were super happy we came here to do that! Food was delish and the Ricotta toast is off the charts!
