Roaming Rooster is my go-to for a delicious chicken sandwich. The Honey Butter Chicken is one of the most popular item on the menu. The sweet butter oozing from the sandwich will leave you speechless! If you’re ever in the D.C. area make sure to stop by here!

@roamingrooster1 has one of the best fried chicken in the DMV (DC, MD, VA) and now they added biscuits to their menu and I’m here for it! It’s flakey, soft and that honey butter is a must. 🤤

You can grab this at their Woodridge location, weekends only.

Roaming Rooster is a small chain of fried chicken restaurants that opened in Washington, D.C., in 2015. It was founded by Ethiopian brothers Michael and Biniyam Habtemariam, as well as the latter’s wife, Hareg Mesfin. The brothers were born in Ethiopia, grew up in Canada, and moved to D.C. The three partners opened their first food truck in 2011. In those first few years, they offered everything from shawarma to pizza. In 2015, they decided to shift the focus to fried chicken.
