Our restaurant specializes in authentic home style cooking from El Salvador as well as a couple of other Central American countries. We pride ourselves in using only recipes passed down by our grandmother, who presently resides in El Salvador as well as incorporating some recipes from our staff. Our staff is primarily Salvadoran ladies, with just a few from other Central American countries. We pride ourselves in that because we feel it helps preserve the authenticity of this style of cooking. Our most popular dish are the "pupusas". These are hand-made corn tortillas filled inside with pork, cheese & beans. We have been recognized in Phoenix Magazine for our Ceviche as a Top 50 Dish in the Valley. Our sopas, soups, are a full meal on their own. Large bowls loaded with vegetables, beef or chicken & chipilin, a leafy green vegetable native to Central America.
