Serving up authentic Korean BBQ on charcoal grills for over 30 years, San Soo Gab San is a childhood favorite for many Korean Chicagoans. 

This is the spot where I introduce my friends who are new to KBBQ. They get to appreciate the history of the traditional experience and everyone loves the huge variety of banchan.

Authentic Korean barbecue on the north side of Chicago. Check out all the Bonchon you get with a meal! You just need to order two proteins and come with a group of people because it’s a LOT
of food!

Did you know if you had five or more people you can get a group meal for only $44 per person? Definitely a steal when you have your selection of five proteins and over 20 Bonchon! Very efficient service and impressive as they bring the charcoal grill to each table!

Korean BBQ is the best because it’s one of the few places that you get to dictate how your meats are cooked! Whether it’s bulgogi or kalbi, San Soo Gab San is one of the very few places that have traditional charcoal grills! One of my two favorite Korean barbecue places on the north side of Chicago. One of the only places that brings a charcoal grill to your table and has like 20 different Bonchon! Come hungry. While the prices have gone up, it’s still a great experience.
