If you’re interested in trying Shanghainese cuisine, be sure to check out Shanghai Bun Dynasty in Cupertino, CA! They have a wide variety of menu items like dumplings, noodles, soups, and more! We enjoyed everything we ordered, but the highlight for us was the stir fried eggs with shrimp, pan-fried buns, and the crispy salt and pepper fish fillets.

We came here to celebrate a family birthday and ordered eight dishes in total. Unfortunately, most of them were quite bland and lacked flavor. The xiao long bao (XLB) were particularly disappointing—they tasted off, and no one wanted to finish them. We expected the salt and pepper tofu to be a safe, classic choice, but it ended up tasting undercooked and unappetizing.
