the men are picking fresh dates at the start of the post.  We always stop by the Shield's  Date Garden for fresh date shake every time we come out here in Indio, in this heat, feels like an oven at 111°!!  This date shake cooled our thirst and had perfect sweetness.  Stop by when you're in Indio/palm springs area, very well worth the drive!!  I got one for my friend because she loves it very much!! inconvenience to pack though!!
