For the holidays when Chinese folks get together we like to eat duck, particularly Peking duck a roast duck that has crispy skin and juicy meat that is eventually put into bao with sweet hoisin sauce, and other accompaniments. Nobody does it better than Sun Wah in #Chicago . The highlight is to see the duck sliced in front of you! #roastduck #chinese

Duck! Sun Wah roast duck is a Duke family tradition.  It is all a “bao” that table side carve now.  After years of enjoying it in the “house”, we finally changed tradition to dine in.  That also means ginger cosmos and ginger mojitos can also come along with our gai lan.  Now are you team rice or team noodles?

There may not be a better place to get a feast fit for a father on their special day. Sun Wah is known for their peking duck served multiple ways!  You get the sliced duck with Bao wrappers , a rice dish, and a soup dish! Hoooo ahhhh!  It’s always @sunwahbbq for the Duke family holidaze dinner.  Now you can have a little “Peking” in at my meal.  Always a “ducking” fave especially with a Scorpion in my hand and a “bao” chicka “bao bao”. Ok, enough “hoisin” around its noodle time.
