Small family owned restaurant in a strip mall that will surprise you with the incredible quality. Faves were salmon carepaccio, scallop sushi, and miso cod.

Hands-down the best sushi in all of LA. It’s a very small restaurant with only six tables, but it is so worth it. The quality is unmatched.

In a Pasadena strip mall, but very very good sushi. Reservation only. I think it’s up there for best sushi in LA

This place has really fresh fish and make their sushi rolls to perfection. The spoiler and tempura roll was delicious. It was a good ratio of rice and filling. Not much wasabi if you like that ask for more.
The shrimp tempura is light and crispy. One of my favorite places for tempura.
However today may be a bad day for them it was slightly greasy tasting.

The best sushi is in Pasadena at Sushi Karen. The quality is fantastic and the preparation is superb. Love it!!!!
