Great tacos with bold flavor and warm tortillas, topped simply with onions, cilantro, and hot sauce. The burrito was fresh, filling, and packed with flavor. Solid spot for quick, satisfying Mexican food.

I’d never tried tacos de campeón before trying them at Tacos Gavilan, and I’m proud this restaurant gave me a good experience with it. I wouldn’t hesitate to try it from them again. I have tried Tacos de campechano before, and I would say I prefer that over this taco in particular. Their names are similar, but campeón is the weaker option of the two. Since they don’t have tacos de campechano at this restaurant, I’d say tacos de campeón will make for a great substitute when visiting here.
