There are certainly some above average dishes like the calamari, boiled fish, and both soups. However, there are also some average dishes. 
I also really enjoyed the hibiscus tea. 

Service is a hit or miss.

Hottest new Sichuan Restaurant in the Bay Area! Reservations only. This is my new go-to for Sichuan cuisine. I’m glad we have Tai Er in the Bay Area now. Tai Er is a famous brand known for suan cai yu (sauerkraut fish) that is bursting with flavors.
