Lot of selections to choose from. You can also get ice cream bar for free. It’s $14.99/lb. You can choose 5-6 kinds of broth or sauce on top.

Malatang hot pot newly open in Brea mall. I liked the variety of hot pot ingredients but the broths were way too salty, we even got the less sodium option and still needed to add water to our bowl. They also only have one cash register so the lines get really long.

I had Malatang with Szechuan spicy. 
Price is $14.99/lb.
You pick all the ingredients from the bar and bring it to the front, choose which type and flavor you want to do (mala soup or stir fried mala). 

Food was great! The soup was so hot that I grabbed two side bowls and alternated between them to cool it down before eating. Don’t forget to grab a free ice cream in the fridge right next to the self dish return. I liked chocolate fudge one 😋

I really like the concept of this place. The price is pretty good too. I usually get a large order that costs about $40-50 but it always gives me a couple days worth of leftovers. The food is delicious and I look forward to eating here again

Soup is very delicious. It’s $14.99/lb so a bit more expensive than its competitors, it could be because this one is in the mall.
