My bf and I decided to come here for a quick dinner. We got the beef noodle soup, Shanghai pan fried buns and Shanghai rice cakes. The pan fried buns take 25 min to make and they’re huge. They were both of our favorites! The beef noodle soup was a little disappointing compared to other places in the area.

Tasty Noodle House is my go-to for comforting, homestyle Chinese food. Always busy (for good reason). The zhajiangmian tastes just like home, and while the xiao long bao skin is a bit thicker than Din Tai Fung, they’re still super juicy and flavorful. The Shanghai grilled pork buns take ~25 minutes but are 100% worth it. Skip the beef with scallion in black pepper sauce, but don’t miss the braised pork with tofu skin. Already came back to try more.
