I loved the subtle southeast Asian flavors incorporated into the menu items. I came here for a girls day lunch and had an amazing time. The weather was perfect for outdoor seating, ambiance is nice and not too loud. Service is excellent here. Once we finished lunch we stopped inside to buy baked goods to take home. I’ve been recommending this spot to my friends ever since I tried it.

Amazing breakfast tartine here at The Dutchess! We also tried their eggs and curry dish and iced latte and ginger beer. Very yummy, cute spot for a brunch or dinner in Ojai!

Had a great time at The Dutchess in Ojai which was only a little over an hour drive from my apartment in Hollywood. It’s a bakery AND a Burmese restaurant (but the Burmese food is just for dinner so I MUST return in the evening sometime) and is a huge spot with great vibes! They had a bunch of gluten free options AND…THEY HAD GLUTEN FREE SOURDOUGH BREAD. Never in the 10+ years since I got diagnosed with celiac have I seen that 🤩 10/10 would recommend #ojai #glutenfree #sourdough #gfhannah #gf

Came here on every online source's recommendation. We intended for an AM pastry and coffee stop. Got to the front to order (Togo is a separate line along the pasty counter) picked out a few pastries, tried to order coffee and was told it would be 20 minutes (!) to which we said no coffees then just a lemonade. 

For the to-go fast type orders, there are two seating areas both of which are indoors. 

We fully enjoyed the pastries, and I would recommend stopping by for breakfast or pastries only.

Stopped by here to eat during our trip to Ojai. Only the brunch menu was available which was decent but just a bit small in variety. Egg sando, salad, and scallion waffle were all good!

Their Crispy Rice Salad is the best!!! Coconut chickpea curry and Beef Satay are also great for mains. Strong flavors. We finished off with the mango sticky rice sorbet which was good but the portion was very small.
