This place has got some good jerk chicken! The seasoning is not that spicy. The plantains were perfectly cooked. I will come back and try the oxtail!
Plaza parking. Inside seating with tables for 2/4. No outside seating. 
Easy to find.

Looking for some delicious Jamaican food? This place is newly opened in Gardena (Strawberry Square shopping plaza)

As soon as you walk in, the smells are heavenly! The oxtails and Ackee & Saltfish are definite MUST TRYS!! The meat is very tender, flavorful and fall off the bone. Comes with rice, cabbage and plantains. Their festival bread is so good. The Ackee & Saltfish is very flavorful.

The curry chicken at The Guinep Tree Jamaican Cuisine is a must-try! Tender chicken in rich, flavorful curry sauce falls right off the bone.  it pairs perfectly with rice and peas, sweet plantains, and savory cabbage. The authentic Caribbean spices and home-cooked taste make this dish a standout. Come support this hidden gem!!  Highly recommended for a delicious, comforting meal!  I’ll be back to try more things!!

First visit and only came for a snack. Got some beef patties to go. They were amazing. Will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu.
