Laid-back spot with a great patio, solid beer selection, and friendly service. Food is dependable for a casual bite, and the atmosphere makes it easy to relax with friends.

The Hop Stop is located in Old Poway Park and serves the ultimate feel good food. They boast a menu of mostly local craft beers. Get the golden stout if you love coffee or stouts in general. It tastes like a latte!! 
We ordered steak nachos and deep fried pickles. The birria was lighter than usual, being made with chicken instead of beef. 
There are TVs all over the bar and the outside patio is dog friendly! Live music was a nice touch on the weekend 👌. The service was superb.
