The Mexican Village restaurant near Silver Lake is in Los Angeles, and a family run business headed by Abel Olivares Jr and Diana Olivares & Blanca. It was started by our father Abel Sr in 1965. He was a 5 star chef at the Windsor, Dales Secret Harbor and wanted to have his own Mexican restaurant with great quality food, full bar and great entertainment. His vision included adding Mayan Mexican Indians at the entrance through Beverly Blvd. The building has a great Hacienda ambiance feel.
