The Hollywood (technically West Hollywood) Standard is a sunset strip staple. Locals feel like they’re on vacation at this oasis where the ladies from Sex & The City escaped to when they came To LA. Just be sure not to get your Mustang stuck on the very steep Sweetzer this hotel is at the corner of. Lounge by the pool, relax in the lobby or cozy up in the Croft Alley diner, open 24/7. During the day, this eatery is chill, at night when the close it can be a scene. This is one of my favorite places in the neighborhood to get work done, and their chopped Vietnamese chicken salad can’t be beat.
