## About
In fall 2012, Chef/Owner Tatsu Aikawa started Ramen Tatsu-Ya with friends and family. Tatsu returned to Austin to introduce authentic Japanese ramen to Texas. Ramen Tatsu-Ya soon became a reality, and the shop quickly became a local sensation.

Its hard to get a reservation for Tiki Tatsu-Ya, I managed to get one a month out. The food menu is small, with mostly appetizers and shareables. The drinks are the real show here, with everything from a giant glowing orb, with music and lights accompanying it as the server brings it out to you, to a pirate ship with shots for the whole group. Don’t come in with a big appetite for food, but stay for the tasty drinks!

Tropic like it’s hot. 🌴

Hidden behind Aikawa Tropical Tours on South Lamar is the paradise of Tiki Tatsu-Ya. 🌺 

I made reservations a month ago and it was definitely worth the wait y’all! 👏🏽The dranks, food, and service were all amazing! 🌟

It’s super hard to get a reservation here as it’s almost always full, but luckily a spot opened up last min for us! The concept of this bar is like no other. Everything, from their menus to the service to the presentation, really matches the tropical experience they’re trying to provide! All of our drinks were not too strong but were still so good and fruity! The food was amazing as well, but the portions are not too big so you can share multiple with friends and family!

Tiki Tatsuya is a fun speakeasy with an immersive atmosphere and yummy drinks! Some of the drinks are even served with a mini lights and sounds show!

Such a fun immersive experience— especially during the Halloween season! Huge punchbowls to share with groups, lights and theatrics for each different punchbowl you choose! Loved it!
