I live a couple blocks away so I walked there on a warm summer evening right before they closed and ordered takeout. A tlayuda is like a Mexican (Oaxacan) pizza combined with a taco and my brain was SO confused. I put chorizo on mine and OMG, it was absolutely delicious! So dangerous that this place is so close to my apartment…. They were great and knowledgable about gluten free options. While everything is yummy, in particular, do not sleep on their chorizo, which is one of my faves anywhere. They also have a really yummy mole, which shows up in a variety of dishes.
