The owner/creative director of torotea is a dedicated medical doctor, who found solace and inspiration in the simple pleasure of her daily tea ritual. Through her long years of medical training, the sleepless nights in the hospital, and the emotional rollercoaster of saving lives, it was the comforting embrace of tea that sustained her spirit and fueled her passion for healing. 

In each sip, she found peace and clarity from the relentless pace of the hospital. It became her sanctuary amidst the demands of medicine.

The hype is real! This is the spot to stop by to pick up your drinks. The Dalgona Cloud Top Oolong Latte is the highlight for this gig! Strong and flavorful. All the drinks tastes good. Reasonably priced. Very organized inside and has a waitlist you can sign up for. Staff are friendly and love the decor. Perfect spot for a cafe if you ask me!

Stopped by on a weekday afternoon—was told to join the waitlist but got off in 3 minutes. 

I wanted the Ember Milk Tea but also wanted to try their brown sugar tapioca mochi, so I went with the Cassia Milk Tea. Got it less sweet, but I’d go with perfect next time. Light, milky taste with tea that lingers after each sip. The mochi is more like a firm, chewy grass jelly than actual mochi. Flavors felt slightly muted, but it kept me coming back for more. At nearly $8, it’s quite steep.

Best tea shop hands down in CA. Highly recommend the Koan-Im, Uva, Barley Tea, or Popcorn MT. Always get ice if you’re going to drink it immediately and perfect sweetness. Can be a bit of a wait so utilize their online waitlist!
