I’ve always had sort of mixed feelings about Trudy’s, it’s either really good or pretty bad. They had a management overhaul a few years ago so I finally got around to trying it again. It’s decent Tex Mex, but I feel like it’s missing the “mex”, they hardly have any true Mexican dishes on their menu anymore. I got a combo plate with a mahi mahi taco and shrimp enchiladas (shrimp on the outside?) I think there are much better TexMex places in Austin.
