Fairly affordable tacos in downtown Chicago. Velvet taco has a ton of variety and hefty tacos. Love getting some of the vegetarian options like ones that feature tofu and seasonal ones. If you’re sharing, don’t forget to get a queso or Elote dip on the side.

HUGE tacos at Velvet Taco in Chicago Gold Coast! Surprisingly, the vegetarian ones are the best, like the Nashville hot tofu and Indian paneer. Thai curry queso was delicious and worth sharing!

The best place for a quick and easy meal in Gold Coast! I love the chicken and waffles taco. They have a huge menu; there is something for everyone.

This is one of the most iconic taco places in Chicago. This location on State Street is right in the heart of Gold Coast. This is a great place to go when you need a bite, but don’t want to go into one of the mega expensive restaurants nearby. They have Great vegetarian options and also a good selection of beer and cocktails. Don’t even think about parking nearby without a SpotHero.

Velvet Taco is a great taco joint ( this location located in the posh Gold Coast neighborhood) serving up infusions of some of everyday favorite foods into our favorite taco delivery system. Gold Coast it’s not traditionally known for having fairly affordable quick eat restaurants. Velvet taco is starting to change the trend. They have an all day special combo that includes two of their signature tacos, a drink, one side and chips all for $15. That is a great deal for this area! #tacos #gooddeal #goldcoast
