We were established by Clay Caldwell after years of growing up and working on his family's farm, his love of BBQ became a "bad habit", and he purchased a Texas Smoker in Des Moines, Iowa.  
Frank Estadt became BBQ CEO in 2005 after challenging Clay to a poker match.  The "history" of that match can be found on our website....
