Within Berkeley’s Gourmet Ghetto you’ll find Walnut Tavern, a cozy neighborhood spot. I came for lunch and loved the atmosphere: plenty of natural light, warm wood throughout, a proper bar, an upstairs outdoor patio, and an indoor space that feels very pub-like.
