Went to a Sip & Thrift event that was being hosted at the CAMP & the LAB. We met up at Work in Progress to grab some drinks before. I got a Matchacano which is like an Americano, but they use a shot of Matcha instead of espresso. Yum!

My favorite coffee shop in OC. It’s a great place to study, hang out, or just stop by. The baristas are always kind and the service is always fast even if there is a line. I love all the small businesses and trinkets they have for sale. The sandwich, breakfast burrito, and whatever food special always hits. Always get matchacano, hojicha, or london fog with a seasonal cream top!

This was my first time trying Work in Progress. I tried one of their Winter WIP menu items, “The Pistachio Creamtop.” with cold brew that was sweetened with maple brown sugar. I’d be interested in trying that same drink with their matcha as I’ve heard great things about it from friends. Will be coming back to try that!
