X-Malatang is a great malatang option. During their grand opening, prices were $14.99 per pound, which is a solid deal. Ingredients are fresh and the broth is flavorful.

Nice place for malatang. It's DIY for 14.99 per pound. Price is pretty good. Server was friendly.

First, inside is very cramped and it seems like you’re eating with the table next to you. The servers seemed to keep messing up orders, too. They asked us what soup we got after we ordered and were waiting already, then brought a random bowl and asked if it was ours. Lastly, they did not have satay sauce, which is my favorite. I thought they just didn’t have it, but when I went to the bathroom, I saw multiple big tubs of it just sitting there. So what is it even for. Very limited selection here.
