Definitely make a reservation. quaint place. loved it. Lots of sake options too. Definitely more of date night or groups of 4 and under people. A bit loud, but will definitely be going back again. ### nanana.food — 5.0/5 · May 17, 2025 Best Yakitori in town! ### talmadgepaul — 5.0/5 · Mar 7, 2025 one of the best in San Diego. Each piece was perfectly grilled, with a great balance of smoky flavor and juicy tenderness. The seasoning was simple but really brought out the natural taste of the meat. I would definitely come back again just for these amazing skewers. ### tuan_hoang — 5.0/5 · Feb 5, 2025 Yakitori Taiso ### aplusfood — 3.3/5 · Jan 27, 2025 Another great place to get Yakitori in San Diego. This time we’re at the Yakitori Taisho. The item we really loved were 1. Pork Shiso 2. Beef Daikon 3. Quail Eggs 4. Chicken thighs The restaurant has outdoor and indoor seating. We call ahead around 4pm and were booked for 5:30pm. ### dougiefresh — 5.0/5 · May 1, 2022 Yakitori Taisho has authentic Japanese food and sake with excellent service and a friendly staff. They made some of our yakitori (i.e. skewers) gluten-free by bringing the sauce on the side and only seasoning the meat with salt & pepper. The sake was unique and delicious. An excellent dining experience for everyone! Cheers 🍶🥢
