Place been around for 100 years. Service was great! Food tasted great! It was just a little too dimmed where I couldn’t see what I was eating. Valet only $15 bucks. They have a kids menu. #kidfriendly #historiclandmark

The wagyu yakitori was our favorite. It was so flavorful and tender!! I would go back just to get 5 orders of these. The sea bass dish was a huge portion and it was thick & juicy! 
Also… The view from this restaurant cannot be beat. Good vibes all around.

Hear me out— it’s been a tough month for me. Both with a big birthday, turbulence in the news and with my personal/work life as of late. But when I’m feeling blue, I tend to seek out my favorite things… which is why I absolutely went to Yamashiro twice this month. Sushi is my comfort food and this place reminds me of my time in Kyoto, which was one of the most calming, fun, joyful times in my life. I cannot recommend this spot enough though. Definitely worth going here since it’s not closing!

I’ve been wanting to try out this famous sushi spot in Hollywood for the longest time and I finally got to give it a go ! that fish quality seriously speaks for itself. Just look at how buttery and rich all of these slices of fish are.
