If you're craving Cantonese style steamed rice rolls and congee, this is it! They make it daily fresh and hot! The steamed rice noodles can be stuffed with many kinds of delicious protein or veggies. The congee is smooth and filling. Small space inside and there is usually a wait but nothing over half an hour! The service is also quick and efficient. I tried Yin Ji Chang Fen two years ago in Canada and have been dying to go back. To my luck, they’ve come to Houston! Their in-house, steamed rice roll is so silky and smooth. I haven’t had better rice rolls to be honest.

I was ecstatic for them to come to Houston and as I expected the food was delicious! I do wish the menu was more extensive like the Canada menu, but I’ll take what I can get. The wait was long as they were crowded and the restaurant was small, just an fyi.

Honestly don’t know what they are called, but they are good. Many different flavors as well. Really solid porridge also.
