@yunnanbypotomac is a family owned, local business serving up the first contemporary Yunnan Cuisine in the DMV area.

Our experience here was exceptional. The details of how the table is set, down to the customer service was amazing. The outdoor patio was dog friendly and perfect for a summer night out. 

This place should definitely be on your list and don’t skip the cocktails and desserts!

Stopped by Yunnan for some traditional Mixian! We also loved the pork belly buns, woodear mushroom cold dish, roasted duck, and dessert!

This place is my absolute favorite to take out of town visitors. I highly recommend getting their Dino bone entree. It can feed roughly 3 people.

Tips: the earlier in the evening you can go, the better. I went without a reservation (at 6 pm), and the place was filling up by the time I left about 90 minutes later.  There is a ton of street parking available, free after 5 pm.
