Great new place for Middle Eastern food in La Jolla

The food was delicious! Lentil soup had a nice thick texture with great flavor. The only thing I wouldn’t care to order again was the Muhammara. It was too sweet for my taste. Baba ghanoush had a nice smoky eggplant flavor and the spicy hummus was tasty as well. I will come back to try more dishes.

Tried their breakfast menu and I must say I wouldn’t recommend it. Their lunch menu offers much better dishes than the breakfast one. Breakfast prices are quite high for what it is. $24 for scrambled egg and some pieces of beef sausage. $22 for a plate of hummus, 5 falafel, some super dry and thin Lebanese bread, a couple of tomato slices, some mint leaves, olives and feta cheese. Not worth it at all.

Zoya in La Jolla has varied Mediterranean eats, like their jalapeno beef sausage pizza, breakfast pastries, Nutella strawberry pizza and mushroom pizza. delicious and flavorful, located right in the heart of the jewel City la Jolla!
