Franki Community Guidelines

Welcome to Franki!

We created these Community Guidelines to foster and protect our amazing community. By using Franki, you agree to these guidelines and our Terms of Use. We're committed to these principles, and we hope you are too. Overstepping these boundaries may result in deleted content, disabled accounts, or other restrictions.

1. Share Authentic Content

1. • Originality: Only share content that you own. Do not post anything you've copied from others or collected from the internet without proper rights.
   • Honesty: Post authentic and factually correct content that reflects your genuine experiences.

2. Post Appropriate Content

1. • Respectful Material: Ensure your posts are suitable for a diverse audience. We do not allow nudity, sexual content, or any form of explicit material.
   • Prohibited Content: Do not post content that supports or praises terrorism, organized crime, or hate groups. Offering sexual services, buying or selling firearms, and illegal or prescription drugs (even if legal in your region) is prohibited.
   • Hate Speech and Harassment: It's never acceptable to encourage violence or attack anyone based on race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disabilities, or disease.

3. Foster Genuine Interactions

1. • No Spam or Fake Engagement: Help us stay spam-free by not artificially collecting likes, followers, or shares. Do not post repetitive comments or content, or repeatedly contact people for commercial purposes without their consent.
   • Authentic Relationships: Engage with the community in meaningful ways that reflect honest experiences.

4. Respect the Law

1. • Legal Compliance: Follow all relevant laws in your area. Do not promote the abuse or illegal use of drugs and alcohol.
   • Protect Minors: Do not include minors in your content without consent. We have zero tolerance for sharing sexual content involving minors or threatening to post intimate images of others.

5. Respect Others' Privacy

1. • Personal Information: Do not share personal or confidential information about others without their permission.
   • Harassment and Bullying: We remove content that contains threats, harassment, or bullying. Repeated unwanted messages and content intended to degrade or shame private individuals are prohibited.

6. Reviews and Feedback

• • Honest Reviews: Post genuine reviews based on your own experiences.
  • Payable Reviews: Franki has sole discretion to decide whether videos eligible for rewards will receive payout. Meeting the requirements below does not guarantee a reward. All eligible videos are still subject to Franki's final review. Reviews eligible for rewards must meet the following criteria:
  • 1. Videos must show the food and/or drinks you ordered, as well as the ambience/vibe of the restaurant or business.
    2. Videos must be vertical (9:16) and fit the screen in portrait mode.
    3. Photos vs. Videos: Franki supports both photo and video content, and photos should be uploaded using the designated photo feature in the app. Content uploaded as a video but that is actually a still image, a photo slideshow, a GIF, or a boomerang is not eligible for rewards and may be removed.
    4. Videos must be of restaurants, bars, cafes, delis, or entertainment venues. We will not reward videos of other locations, including but not limited to grocery stores, retail stores, lifestyle facilities such as spas, and outdoor spaces such as parks and beaches.
    5. Video posts must include a caption that helpfully describes the experience.

Even if a video isn't eligible for rewards, it still helps someone discover their next favorite spot. Questions about a specific video can be directed to support from within the app.

Removal Policy: Reviews, positive or negative, will not be removed simply at the request of a business owner. They may only be removed if they violate our Terms of Use and these Community Guidelines, at Franki's sole discretion.

7. Enforcement and Cooperation with Authorities

• • Policy Enforcement: We may remove content or disable accounts that violate our guidelines.
  • Law Enforcement: We may work with law enforcement when we believe there's a risk of physical harm or threat to public safety.

8. Help Us Keep the Community Strong

• • Reporting Violations: If you see something that violates our guidelines, please report it using the app's built-in tools or email us at support@frankiapp.com. Provide as much information as possible to help us review it quickly.
  • Community Resolution: Many disputes can be resolved directly. If someone has posted your photo or video, consider asking them to remove it before reporting.
  • Content You Dislike: If you come across content you don't like but that doesn't violate our guidelines, you can unfollow or block the user.
