About Us

The owners operate with the idea of presenting excellent food and a wonderful atmosphere paired with exceptional service. HopScotch is definitely a family run business with two daughters and a son who all work alongside their parents. The restaurant also features meat from Tischler's Market in Plainfield along with fresh produce from Peter Rubi's located in the Route 59 plaza. The Plainfield Community and shopping local is important to the owners with the recent addition of them opening 2 retail stores- Simply Saucy & What's New?? in Downtown across from the restaurant. Established in 2012. Mike & Cassie Vaughn opened HopScotch & Vine Food & Spirits in Downtown Plainfield in March 2012 with the idea of specializing in high quality meals designed to please all of the senses.
