Earning Rewards

How do I earn Cash back?

Franki offers cash back at participating restaurants and businesses. To earn cash back:

1. Activate an offer in the Franki app
2. Pay with your connected credit card at the eligible business
3. Your cash back will track automatically (or via receipt validation if required)

Cash back rewards should appear within 3-5 business days after the transaction has been posted by your credit card (timing depends on the merchant and your bank).

Do I have to activate an offer before I pay?

Yes, you must activate the offer before your purchase to earn rewards.

How long does it take to see cash back?

Cash back rewards should appear within 3-5 business days after the transaction has been posted by your credit card (timing depends on the merchant and your bank).

Will I earn cash back immediately after paying?

Some purchases may show up quickly, while others may take longer depending on how long the business takes to finalize the charge.

Does cash back include tips, taxes, or fees?

Cash back is based on eligible purchase totals and does not include tips or additional fees.

Can I earn cash back on delivery apps (Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc.)?

No, delivery apps process payments through a third party, which prevents the purchase from tracking at the restaurant level.

Can I still earn XP?

Yes, XP rewards will be noted on the offer and may vary by location.

Why did my XP offer require a receipt?

Some businesses are not eligible for automatic card-based tracking. We developed receipt tracking to ensure users can still earn rewards, including XP rewards.

What’s the point of earning XP?

XP helps you level up in Franki. We’re also working on improvements to the XP system, with more updates coming soon.

How do I earn Posting Rewards?

Franki Social Club members who are at Insider status or higher (Levels 9-20) earn rewards for posting videos (one per business every 30 days). Want to fast-track and start earning for your content? Apply to get promoted to Insider status here.

How do I earn a Rec Bonus?

Earn when someone activates a cash-back offer from your video and makes a purchase.

How do I earn a Level-Up Bonus?

Extra perks unlocked at higher levels.

Why don’t I see cash back offers near me?

Franki is actively expanding to more markets and adding more reward partners. New cash back offers are added regularly, so keep checking back!

Why am I seeing different offers than before?

As we expand and work to provide new offers, some offers may rotate based on availability.

Why did a restaurant disappear or stop offering rewards?

Some businesses may become temporarily unavailable for rewards due to tracking limitations or partner availability. Franki is constantly updating offers and expanding coverage.

Levels & Benefits

How do I level up?

Complete level-specific tasks such as visiting businesses and making connected card purchases, providing recommendations, and posting videos.

What are the perks?

Higher-level members unlock increased rewards, exclusive competitions, special events, and merch.

Gigs & Adventures

What are Gigs?

Gigs are video prompts you can complete for additional rewards.  Some are business-specific (Business Gigs), while others can be completed anywhere (Anywhere Gigs).

What are Adventures?

Adventures are multi-step challenges that reward you for exploring new places & sharing experiences. Complete each step of an Adventure within the given time period to earn additional rewards. 

Referrals

How do I refer friends?

Share your unique referral link or have friends input your username in the Franki wallet under “Who brought you to Franki?” within 7 days of signing up. Earn $2 when they sign up & connect a card, plus $10 when they make their first purchase.

Referees will earn $2 when they sign up and $10 for *making their first purchase. 

*First purchase bonus is only available in eligible territories: California, Texas, and Illinois.

What happens when you refer someone?

When your friend signs up using your referral link or username, you can earn bonus rewards once they make their first purchase at a cash back eligible business. Check your wallet tab in the app for your rewards.

What if my referral bonus isn’t shown (someone referred me)?

If you are not seeing your referral bonus in the app, make sure your friend’s username is entered in the wallet under “Who brought you to Franki?” within 7 days of signing up.

Are referral incentives guaranteed for every business?

Referral incentives for both referees and referrers are subject to our discretion and only apply to purchases at businesses offering active cash back.

Lists

How do I save places I love?

You can save businesses to your Saved List or create custom lists from your saved favorites to track your old reliables and must-visit spots.

Can I add a missing business?

Yes! Use the in-app “Add a Business” feature located in your profile or email add@frankiapp.com.
