Maya Restaurant is dedicated to honoring and preserving the Guatemalan Maya heritage and to providing exceptional customer service. Our restaurant offers Guatemalan traditional cuisine as well as other diverse popular dishes from Mexico and El Salvador. We are most sought out for our authentic home-style cooking, and our freshly hand-made tortillas. Our costumers also know they can count on us for healthy smoothies options! Established in 2012. Recognizing that the West Lake/McArthur Park community was lacking Guatemalan food restaurant options for the predominantly Central American community that resided in the neighborhood, four community leaders were committed to bringing an array of Central American and Mexican dishes to their community. Maya Restaurant is rooted in preserving and promoting the Guatemalan Maya heritage and is committed to sharing the amazing cuisine with Los Angeles, bringing traditional home-style cooked meals every day to the community.
