Welcome to Fonda del Barrio, where the flavors of ancestral Mexico come alive in the heart of Barrio Logan. Founded by Gerry Torres (City Tacos, Tour de Tapas) and guided by Executive Chef Eduardo Baeza, our kitchen celebrates the traditions of Mexico through vibrant dishes crafted from pre- and post-Hispanic recipes. From Oaxacan moles and Mayan achiote rubs to handmade masa and fresh seafood, every plate is a tribute to Mexico’s rich culinary heritage.
