About Us

GG’s Chicken Shop, from Boka Restaurant Group, was created by Chef Lee Wolen, who has earned a Michelin Star through his Chicago-based restaurant Boka, alongside James Beard Award-winning restaurateurs Rob Katz and Kevin Boehm. The first brick-and-mortar GG’s Chicken Shop opened in 2023 in Chicago, and the Downtown Disney District location is its first on the West Coast. Affectionately named after Wolen’s mother Geri, the restaurant serves a family-friendly menu. Check out the Sweet and Spicy Chicken Sandwich featuring pickled daikon slaw and kewpie mayonnaise; a California Salad with avocado and sunflower seeds; or a classic side dishes like crispy Brussels sprouts with chili lime salt. Top off your comfort-food meal with a dessert—the Oatmeal Cream Pie features Mickey Mouse-shaped sprinkles!
