This place looks like Dumpling row...multiple Dumpling spots located on the same street..I asked the lady if Dumpling Kitchen was the best...and she said Yes with a smile...We got the fried pork buns, shu mai, braised pork veg rice and crab dumplings...

Hungry Curator here at Dumpling Kitchen’s new location in the Castro of San Francisco. If you are a fan of dumplings and other Chinese food classics this is it! We began with cucumber salad, and sweet & sour potatoes, braised lion’s head meatballs, spicy wontons, and this epic pan fried seafood noodle, before moving on to a beautiful spread of piping hot dumplings– all made in house! Of note were the thumb dumplings. And for dessert we got egg custard buns and chocolate lava dumplings.

Dumpling Kitchen was always my family’s go-to restaurant! After they switched ownership, it has definitely changed. But it still has the potential to hit the spot!
