If you haven’t been to the Line hotel, you must, it is a vibe. Tucked in the heart of Korea Town, across the street from the metro (yes, we have subways in LA, try them!). Open Air which is perched on the second floor roof feels like you’re drinking and dining inside a greenhouse, and that’s exactly the point. Sadly, like most hotel restaurants, it gets expensive here. Drinks start at $15 and so do most dishes. My date was late and I was famished so I ordered the whipped smoke trout for $6 assuming it came with bread. It did not, that loaf of sourdough was also $6. In other words I paid $12 for bread and fancy AF butter. I miss the days when it was free. It was delicious of course (it better be for $12) well hey, at least I took the subway! I sipped on the cotes-du-Rhône a deliciously dry red. I started with the fall salad which was a little too anchovy forward for my taste, and I’m Italian. But the duck ragout was a can’t miss! Super gorgeous brunch spot in downtown LA. The glass house with all the hanging plants totally set the mood and it’s a perfect place for gathering with friends😊

we came out to celebrate my aunt's birthday and it did not disappoint!! delicious fresh vegan foods and she got a freebie mini birthday cake. we orered the portabello sandwich with sweet potato fries, and a caesar salad with grilled chicken. everything was yummy!!
