About

The Grass Skirt is a tropical tiki bar speakeasy tucked inside Pacific Beach, San Diego, entered through a hidden fridge door in a poke shop. Designed by Davis Krumins of Davis Ink Ltd., the space blends traditional tiki elements with seductive details, booth seating, fire features, and theatrical effects that evoke an eternal sunset. Executive Chef Brian Redzikowski brings Southeast Asian culinary expertise to the menu, pairing Hawaiian-inspired dishes with inventive cocktails. The bar hosts a beloved Annual Tiki Luau and a popular seasonal Sippin' Santa holiday popup, both of which sell out regularly. The buzzing, artistic atmosphere suits date nights, girls' nights, and group hangouts equally well.
