TJ Tacos

I’m back at my favorite taqueria (in addition to Tacos El Gordo) for their Adobada Fries. They were just like their tacos: heavenly.

TJ Tacos is worth a drive to Escondido. The tacos are soooo good! You order your food at the labeled stations (adobada, asada, ect), then pay at the cashier once you recieve your items

Food was really good! Some of the best adobada I’ve had! Fries were super crunchy, and hit the spot! Ask for piña, they don’t advertise they have it but they do! Service was good, and staff were very friendly.

Easily one of the best tacos in San Diego. While there are lot of options, my favorite is the lengua.

The scene is casual with fast service, but lines can get long. Prices are fair and portions are filling. The drive-thru is convenient, but wait times vary. Skip the fries—stick with tacos for best value.
