Vintage 53

Vintage 53 is a specialty marketplace, cheese shop, and wine bar in the heart of downtown St Charles, IL. We specialize in artisanal cut-to-order cheese, charcuterie, wine, and all the accompaniments, as well as serving boards, glassware, and gifts. We also offer an assortment of curated to-go trays for up to 15ish people, and grazing tables for larger groups! Established in 2017. We first opened our doors in 2017 as a wine & cocktail bar. Through our almost 2 year shutdown, we brainstormed a unique and “best of both worlds” concept of splitting our space into half specialty market and cheese shop and half wine and cocktail bar. This has enabled us to bring hundreds of specialty foods into our establishment, develop a catering program, start teaching wine and cheese pairing classes, all while keeping a cozy wine bar section for dine-in customers.
