This is Shoto in Washington DC, it is a beautiful restaurant but more lkke a club-staurant with tulum vibes. The food wss not great if you are looking for a real sushi place but fine for a clubstaurant and expensive night out on the town.

Definitely one of the best, if not the best, sushi place I have been to. Most of the dishes are small so you can order a bunch and sample everything. We tried scallop, salmon, and wagyu nigiri and the cuts are so fresh and just melt in your mouth. The sushi rolls come in 4-6 pieces which is perfect for sharing. They also have amazing wagyu buns and if you love uni this is the place for you — the uni shooters come in a lemon!
