Avila's El Ranchito

Avila’s will always be my favorite OC Mexican restaurant.

Interesting decor, was once a church. Beautiful stained glass window on south wall. Better than average food, but the strawberry margarita was a bit sweet. Excellent chips and salsa. Try the chingolingas. Dedicated parking on north side.

Same good food, nice location. Used to be an old church - still has the beautiful stained glass windows. In the middle of a charming residential neighborhood. The tacos and chingolingos are my favorite entrees.
