When in downtown Los Angeles, you can’t miss the Broken Shaker at the Freehand. A rooftop Tiki style bar with breathtaking 360 views of Los Angeles. Atop the historic Commercial Exchange Building that adorns LA’s tallest neon sign in 1924. My bartender Travis recommended the LA Bae (guess I looked pretty basic, but this drink is anything but). The cocktail was a delicious mix of vodka, suze, Gifford banane, açaí granola orgeat, and fresh lemon. The same price as a green smoothie, with a refreshing taste that makes you feel like you just hiked Runyon (minus the sweat and the whole you know, actually hiking Runyon thing). Also comes with a snack (3 pieces of dried banana 😂). I was there at 5PM on a Tuesday so I was the only one there hence the camera cheers! #American #happyhour #outdoorseating

Broken Shaker at the Freehand Hotel is a beautiful rooftop with a pool and bar. The ambiance has a tropical feel and the vibe is gorgeous with the lights and colors. It has a South Beach vibe with vintage decor. So worth it to check this place out! #American #happyhour #outdoorseating

Broken shaker is an awesome rooftop bar in DTLA, great cocktails with fun festive specials. There’s a pool, and the views are spectacular. Service was a bit patchy, no one was really round in the off season, couldn’t find the bar tender sometimes.
