I found THE perfect place to get a cute gift box of Korean-inspired French desserts: @brownbagcookies_la 🥺 This little hole-in-the-wall in Koreatown honestly reminded me of Japan with the delicate pacakaging, high-quality desserts, and beautiful presentation.

Their Canelé is the best 👍👍

This bakery is so good. They are known for their financiers and canales. They are pricey but definitely worth the money.

This was my second time coming here. This time I got an ube financier and the buttermilk cream filled scone. The pastries are a bit pricey, especially for how small most of them are, but you can tell they are made with care and are gourmet. These are a once in a while treat for me. The filling in the scone was light and fluffy, which paired well with the crispy scone. The owner and staff are friendly too.

Brown Bag Cookies serves French and Korean inspired cookies and pastries like financiers and caneles! All the cookies were the perfect texture and not too sweet. I haven't tried them all, but the ones I tried are good! Fresh and not too sweet! Next time I will try their drinks too. They do validate for parking for 20 minutes.
