Classic Chinese Restaurant

This is probably one of the best Cantonese places in OC with the closing of staples like Sam Woo. Recommend classics like deep fried whole fish, honey walnut shrimp, orange peel beef, salted fish fried rice. There is lunch special everyday except holidays till around 3/4 P for dine in and take out.

Portion size was HUGE. Nice service staff. After ordering, food was quick to come out. The Peking duck meat was tender & moist. The clay pot seafood and tofu were scrumptious. And the soup rice was deceivingly delicious. I ended up eating three bowls of it. The broth of the spicy fish was too starchy, though, so expect Canton cuisine rather than Szechuan. And the breading of the orange beef was too thick. Recommend coming for their lunch special prices and portions, even on weekends.

You get a lot of bang for your buck here, especially with the lunch specials. This is mainly a Cantonese restaurant, so stick with those style of dishes. The Peking Duck and water fish left a lot to be desired.
