I’ve never heard of cold pot fish until this moment and to my surprise, the fish was actually hot and not cold. I learned it’s called cold pot because the fish is fully cooked in the kitchen and then served in a pot, where it’s left to cool; whereas in hotpot, the food is cooked at the table. I don’t have Sichuan food often but the numbing spice from the broth and peppercorns warms up my soul every time. I also had the golden soup to balance out the spiciness since it’s much milder.

They're all delicious and authentic next time I'm going to try their preserved pork. They are very typical Sichuan cuisine, too!
